Tuesday the world lost a true hero and legend, Fred Morrison. No, he didn’t rock it on a guitar, kill it on an athletic field, or burn up the movie screen; but he did invent. Not only did he invent, but he created and successfully brought into our lives maybe the most important object of all-time. Sliced bread? The wheel? No, the Frisbee.
It is true that many of you reading this blog are in fact Wham-O haters, but for one day we must put aside our hatred and come together for the greater frisbee good to honor the man that brought us the Wham-O, which eventually brought us Discraft and the sport we know and love, Ultimate.
So take some time out of your day to honor the man by hucking it deep.
